Scuba tours
Scuba tours are found anywhere there are oceans or seas, even rivers. Scuba tours are organized locally at special attractions, or from afar by travel companies that specialize in certain tropical destinations. Depending on the kind of company and how much money you pay, you can dive with groups, or smaller, more private excursions.
Popular scuba attractions include the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the sparkling clear waters of Hawaii, the thrilling atolls of the Maldives, the romance of St. Vincent and the Grenadine Islands, and the Sea of Cortez in Mexico, described by legendary diver and oceanographer as “one of the richest seas of the world.”
Scuba tours are the perfect way to visit the popular local dive sites of any destination, and if you make the right friends, they might show you the less trafficked dives free of tourists.
