Scuba equipment all works together to enable a human to breathe
underwater and explore the Earth’s sub-aquatic treasures.
The best way to learn about all the gear, and how to safely use
it, is to take a scuba class.
Scuba equipment includes:
• Scuba set (open circuit or rebreather)
• Buoyancy control device (compensator
• Mask
• Regulator, gages, computers
• Swim fins
• Gas tank – tubing
• Wet suit
In order to dive at all, you must be enrolled in a scuba class,
where you will learn on borrowed or rented scuba equipment. When
it is time to buy your own, your dive instructor will be the best
person to talk to about what exactly you will need.
